I am an active chess player with many years working as a coach professionally. My training method is especially directed at improving your middlegame skills. The goal is to teach you how to think in different situations of the game and help you make the right decisions. My lesson’s target is to widen your positional understanding, prophylactic thinking and concrete calculation of variations. To know when to do each one of these things is the first step towards mastery. We will work with exercises to improve your positional play, technique, and calculation but also with classical games that every chessplayer should know. We’ll also have a look at relevant games from your opening repertoire. Another important task is to fully analyze your games, identify your mistakes and reduce them as much as possible. All in all, I try to pass to my students all my experience gained along the years as a player and chess worker.
Next you will see a simple teast to evaluate your decision making in different positions. Dare to solve it and send me your answers!
