Short trip to Sicily

Last week I went to Sicily in orther to participate in the first edition of ”Nebrodi di Bianco e Nero”. It was a small open tournament that turned out to be a semi closed event, as there were only 14 players and more than half were titled. I had a great time and met some really wonderful people. We had some guided tours during the days of the tournament and visited the most beautiful towns around Sicily. From our trips, I was particularly impressed by San Marco d’ Alunzio. After the event was over I stayed one night in Palermo and visited the local chess club. There, I discussed one my games from the tournament and played friendly games with the locals. I’m very thankful for this experience and I’d like to share with you some pictures from the event and the visits.
